Terms and Conditions for SANALIKA SHIPPING
Welcome to SANALIKA SHIPPING. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to ensure clarity and compliance.
- General Guidelines
- Any package sent to our warehouse MUST include a detailed packing list on the outside of the package, specifying its contents. Exceptions apply only to packages sent directly from verified retailers (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Target).
- SANALIKA SHIPPING reserves the right to inspect all packages. If your package does not include a packing list or fails to follow our instructions, we may refuse shipment. Rejected packages will be returned to the sender at your expense.
- Deliveries to our warehouse are accepted Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. No deliveries will be accepted on weekends or public holidays. Ensure the package is signed for upon delivery.
- Addressing Guidelines
- Your Client Number is unique to you and MUST be included on the address label of every package. Packages without a Client Number may not be processed.

- Prohibited Items
- SANALIKA SHIPPING does not ship the following:
- Dangerous goods such as armaments, illegal items, or drugs.
- Hazardous chemicals as defined by IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.
- Television sets.
- We do ship:
- Lithium-ion batteries contained in devices (e.g., laptops, phones).
- Colognes and perfumes classified as ID8000 dangerous goods.
- Any prohibited items shipped in violation of this policy will not be returned or shipped, and SANALIKA SHIPPING is not liable for any related losses.
- Electronics Policy
- For electronics, SANALIKA SHIPPING does not test items on behalf of customers. Customers must ensure that electronics are functional before shipping them to our warehouses.
- Insurance Policy
- We offer insurance for packages at the rate of 15% of the package value. Customers opting for insurance must declare the value of their package accurately.
- In the event of loss or damage, compensation will be based on the declared value and applicable insurance terms.
- Storage and Ownership
- Once your package arrives at our local warehouse in Kenya, you will be notified. You must pay all applicable charges and collect your package within 7 days of notice.
- Storage charges of KES 500 per day will apply after the 7-day period for up to 21 days. If the package remains unclaimed after 21 days, it becomes the property of SANALIKA SHIPPING.
- Volumetric Weight Policy
- Shipping costs will be calculated based on actual weight or volumetric weight, whichever is higher. Use our online volumetric weight calculator to determine applicable charges.
- Volumetric Weight Formula:
- Volumetric Weight (kg) = (Length × Width × Height) / 5000
- Liability
- SANALIKA SHIPPING is not liable for:
- Loss of goods during transit.
- Loss of value due to delays or handling.
- Any losses resulting from violations of these terms.
- By shipping with us, you acknowledge and accept these limitations.
- Customer Responsibilities
- Ensure your package complies with all applicable shipping regulations and includes accurate and complete documentation.
- Confirm that the package is delivered to the correct warehouse address with your unique Client Number.
- Notify us immediately in case of any discrepancies or issues with your shipment.
- Disputes and Queries
- For any disputes, inquiries, or assistance, please contact our support team at support@sanalikashipping.com. We will endeavor to resolve all issues promptly and efficiently.
